SUMMARY

Production and utilization of lignocellulolytic bacterial products "Probio-BaliTani" which is a multifunctional product "Probiotic-Biosuplement-Inoculant" in the development of poultry farms, especially broilers, is a long-term goal of this research. The use of Probio-Bali Farmer as a substitute for antibiotic growth promoter / AGF in poultry farming (broiler) business is a specific target to be achieved so that the broiler farming business becomes more competitive and sustainable and the products produced are healthier. The research was carried out through the activities of 1 Production and strengthening of product quality, 2 market surveys, 3 product promotion and socialization and 4 formation of demonstration plots at several partner farms. Probio-BaliTani production is carried out by utilizing a consortium of lignocellulolytic bacteria namely "Bacillus subtilis BR4LG, Bacillus subtilis BR2CL, Aneurinibacillus sp. BT4LS, and Bacillus sp. BT8XY grown on natural prebiotic medium using molasses, moringa leaf extract, turmeric, noni fruit, cow's milk, soybean, tapioca flour, calcium carbonate, table salt, mineral vitamin "pignox", urea, ZA, tanic acid, CMC, xylan and water is incubated for 1 week anaerobically at 37.5oC. The quality of Probio-BaliTani was evaluated through analysis of nutrient content (Gross Energy, crude protein, Calcium, Phosphorus, Sulfur, Ferrum, Zincum), population of beneficial bacteria (total bacteria, lignocellulolytic bacteria, and lactic acid bacteria) and pathogenic bacteria (E. Coli and Coliform). Market survey activities were carried out in broiler chicken business centers in all regencies / municipalities in Bali to find out the desires and needs of breeders for AGP substitute products in running their livestock business. Promotional activities and product socialization are carried out through product packaging design activities, brochures / leaflets about product excellence, registration of patent rights and product brand rights, socialization activities to groups of broiler chickens / breeders in Bali. Demonstration forming activities are carried out in a number of partner business locations to increase the confidence of partners and other breeders on the quality and usefulness of Probio-BaliTani products to optimize the productivity of broiler farms so as to increase the profits and welfare of farmers. Through this research activity, it is believed that the probi-BaliTani lignocellulolytic bacterial biotechnology product can be introduced to the public so that the product commercialization business can be carried out.
